Dexter Season 5, Episode 1: "My Bad" Recap (Part 2)

Dexter clearly feels some level of guilt at what has happened, knowing that it is his fault for not killing Arthur sooner. However it does not present in the normal way that grief would in most people, leaving him rather adrift. Even the visions of his adopted father and mentor Harry, which normally serve as the closest thing he has to a conscience, seem to have abandoned him. Flashbacks to Dexter's very first date with Rita also show the depth of Dexter's guilt as he remembers the lies he told her right from the very beginning.

When Rita's children, Astor and Cody, return from Disneyland with their grandparents Dexter is forced to break the news to them. Dexter fumbles through it clumsily, even going so far as to resort to the "I'm sorry for your loss" line that the funeral home director had used on him. While most of the family dissolves into grief Astor turns to anger at Dexter.

She blames him for not being there to protect her mother and wishes that it had been him who had died. Dexter takes the notion that they would all be better off without him to heart and begins planning to disappear for good.

Meanwhile Debra goes to Dexter's house to clean up the crime scene, and Quinn comes along to help. Following the clean up Debra breaks down and quickly finds herself in the arms of Quinn and things get very physical very fast from there.

Debra seems to immediately regret it, and practically flees the house. This gives Quinn an excuse to talk to the neighbor who had been crying at the sight of Rita being carried out dead on a stretcher. The neighbor confides in Quinn about the kiss and also says that Dexter punched him over it. Quinn tries to relay this to Laguerta, who responds only with anger, not wanting to deal with this case at all.

Finally Dexter packs his boat with only the essentials, burns his storage container that had served as his killing office, and heads out. In doing so he misses his "interview" with the FBI and friends and family are left standing at Rita's funeral wondering if he will show up. When Dexter stops to fuel up his boat he encounters an aggressive and rather heartless man at the seemingly abandoned fueling station. Dexter follows him into the bathroom and in a fit of rage beats him to death with an anchor. Harry appears to Dexter once again saying that this was "the most human thing" that Dexter has done since Rita dies. - 40729

Recently while surfing the Internet for information on the Halo 3 weapons cheats, I came across a number of what-if scenarios? What if Master Chief took on different famous characters from movies, comic books, and legends? Here is a list of some of these battles and my idea of the outcome.

Although it is technically not a Halo 3 weapon cheat, the contest between Master Chief versus Robocop would be interesting. According to the information on the Internet both have a few similarities. They're both human, they've both been improved on, they both have fantastic armour and they are both veteran combatants. Most respondents predicted that Master Chief would beat Robocop, but let's face facts here, Master Chief can be defeated with a pistol, whereas Robocop was still going after being blown up at a fuel station. The victor has to be Robocop.

If Master Chief took on the next combatant he would need to have a Halo 3 weapon cheat. I'm talking about MacGyver. Master Chief has a lot going for him. He is an expert with a variety of weapons; he has that fantastic armour; he has some incredible vehicles at his disposal; he's a Clint-Eastwood-type loner and he can repair himself. However, in short, MacGyver has brains. It would probably come down to the same thing in a fight between Batman and Superman. However, if it's a closed arena where it's man against man, Master Chief will win. But put this contest in the real world with Swiss army knives and duct tape at his disposal, and MacGyver's going to murder our futuristic pal.

'Till now Master Chief is 2-0 down, it's beginning to look like he could really use a Halo 3 weapon cheat. But let's give him another go. This time it's Master Chief versus Terminator. We already know Master Chief's powers, the Terminator's consist of an ability to master any weapon, relentless willpower, doesn't get tired, amazing detrermination to destroy his prey. It all comes down to the Spartan laser weapon. As one respondent indicated, if Master Chief can destroy vehicles with this weapon he can certainly put a pretty big hole in the Terminator too.

Let's have one more battle before Master Chief finds his Halo 3 weapon cheat. What can he do against Boba Fett from Star Wars? The only differences between Master Chief and Boba Fett are that Boba has no shields, owns his own ship and has a jet pack.

Many people believe Star Wars would come out on top in this battle, but Master Chief's weapons are far more powerful than those owned by the bounty hunter. This one makes it evens at 2-2.

Sing For Longer Periods Of Time

One of many biggest challenges in singing is retaining a note for a longer time devoid of losing any sound quality. Millions struggle with this every year, but surprisingly it only takes a handful of small adjustments to solve the problem.

First, Your Breathing

The effective primary thing to work on is your breathing. If you can't take a deep enough breath and maintain it, of course you won't be able to sing for long periods of time. However, before the time that we work on holding your breath, you will need to learn how to breathe appropriately.

This takes focusing on the act of breathing. Not just is this is a powerful training tool, it is very restful. Stand straight, with your shoulders back and your neck erect. Breath in by way of your nose and hold the breath for a second.

At the moment, when you discharge the breath, hiss the breath out of your body. Do this by putting the tip of your tongue against the in just your front teeth and letting air out in a hissing sound - like a pump up raft being deflated.

The objective of this exercise is to train the entire core of your body to breathe in and out thoroughly. In the end, you should be capable to tap into a massive reserve of air that will allow you to sustain a note far longer than when you got set up.

Practicing Notes

You should spend between 10-15 minutes every day practicing your breathing exercises, strengthening your muscles and building up your stamina. Though, in short order, you'll have to start putting it to work with actual singing.

The next gen device has been built on a cut down version of iOS. The user interface has taken on the classic iphone and ipad look and feel.

The nano is dead simple, simpler than its predecessors in fact. Apple has removed many of its features leaving it with only the ability to play music and view photos. The camera and movie playback features have been removed.

The new rich user interface offers the ability to navigate like never before on a nano. The interface is much more intuitive. No more scrolling using the click wheel. Just effortlessly navigate on the multi touch screen. If you're wondering why does this feel like I'm navigating an iPhone, its because the nano has been built on a cut down version of the iOS. So you are bound to get all the best features from all the past iterations of apple iOS development straight up.

The interface looks rather familiar if your already an apple customer. The cut down version of iOS has been built especially for the new nano.

Ok, so what about the sound quality.

Dj Vu is another great Tony Scott directed movie. This film stars Denzel Washington (surprise, surprise) and takes place in one of the greatest American cities there is, New Orleans. If you like films involving time travel, this one is worth seeing.

The Last Boy Scout is another interesting film that happens to be directed by Tony Scott. I was a little young to fully appreciate this film when I saw it for the first time, but upon watching it again recently, I realized that is a great movie.

The final movie on this list is Top Gun. Top Gun truly defined the late 80s action movie. This film stars Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and whoever that guy is who played Goose.
